Outdoor Family Sessions (April–October)


There’s something truly magical about capturing families in the beauty of the outdoors. From golden sunsets in open fields to playful walks through the park, nature provides the perfect backdrop for relaxed and joyful family photos. Between April and October, I offer outdoor sessions to take advantage of the warm, golden light and vibrant seasonal colors. These sessions allow your family to move, explore, and interact naturally, creating authentic moments filled with laughter and connection. Whether it’s a sunlit summer evening or the crisp, colorful tones of fall, outdoor sessions bring a timeless and organic feel to your family portraits.

For those who prefer a cozy and controlled environment, I also offer studio sessions year-round. My studio is a warm, inviting space designed for beautiful, light-filled images with a timeless aesthetic. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, welcoming a new baby, or simply want a classic family portrait, studio sessions provide a clean and intimate setting without worrying about the weather. With soft natural tones and a relaxed approach, I focus on capturing the love and connection between your family in a way that feels effortless and real.

FAQ

When Is The Best Time To Book In?


Studio sessions can be done all year round.

Outdoor sessions run from April to October.

Sunset sessions start around 7:30pm depending on the month.

How Long Will The Session Take?


My family sessions are around 1 hour long,

Who can get involved in the session?


Family sessions are based on 1 household/family of parents and siblings.

My family photography sessions are designed for babies aged six months and up—just the right time when little ones have typically mastered the art of sitting up and are full of emerging personalies. 


If you would like an extended family session please let me know as additional session time and locations will need to be considered.

What should I wear for the shoot?

 

I don't like to enforce what you should or shouldn’t wear as your comfort is of upmost importance to me but ultimately what you do wear could make or break your images. If you would like the photos to be aesthetically pleasing and fit my overall style, I advise clients to stick to very simple and neutral clothing with whites/beige/tan/brown/etc all working well.  I do have several maternity dresses that can be used for the session.

Where will the session take place?


I offer family sessions at my home studio in Harlow, Essex all year round or outdoor/sunset sessions April-October (additional travel fees apply for locations over 20mile radius of CM17).





When Can Expect My Images?


Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session you will receive an online viewing gallery of 30-40 images where you can make your final selection as part of your package (including upgrades and add-ons).

You will then be provided the images in high-quality files for digital download.

Additional digital images can be purchased.
